Technology is becoming increasingly woven into every aspect of our lives - personal, professional, and communal. Like many powerful tools, it holds a dual potential: to heal or harm, to connect or divide. As we move through an era of accelerating digital integration, understanding the environmental, social, and physiological impact of technology becomes not just useful, but essential.

This is the intention behind Tech in Transition, a free, curated, series of webinars and interactive spaces designed to help us explore how to harness the power of technology in service of well-being, justice, and connection.

What the Series Offers

Running from early September to late November, Tech in Transition is a multi-month exploration that includes:

  • 3 Webinars
  • 1 Panel Discussion
  • 3 Collective Wisdom Sharing Spaces
  • A Community Raffle

Each element is designed to support reflection, skill-building, and collaboration around our relationship with technology.

Panel: Tech, Spirit & Earth

Before our final webinar we will host a panel discussion with Wakanyi Hoffman, Shai Tubali, DenniseKuku’ Dueñas exploring the spiritual and environmental impacts of technology. This will be an open ended, lightly facilitated discussion exploring how ancestral wisdom, earth-based practices, and collective awareness can help guide us through this transition.

Collective Wisdom Sharing Spaces

Between each webinar, the third Tuesday of each month, we’ll host interactive space for community reflection and integration. These sessions will complement the webinars and provide space for deepening and applying the learning in our everyday. These sessions will include journaling prompts, small group discussions, and whole-group collective wisdom sharing. These are opportunities to share stories, challenges, and practices and learn from each other.

The Transition Platform is ad-free, open-source, GDPR-compliant, and built to support changemakers. It offers video conferencing, community building tools, and space to explore emerging ideas, share resources, and connect with folks from all over the world. There is both desktop and app accessibility. We hope that this will serve as a place where people can share invitations, resources, ask questions etc. and replace the need for Facebook and other less ethical social platforms.

Why This Matters

The more people that have both an awareness of regenerative futures and technology the more likely it will be that technology can be used for the force of good. We hope this series will help to connect, inspire and empower people to engage with technology more consciously and skillfully.
